Shipping Policy

1. Shipping, Delivery and Risk Transfer 1.1 All Shipping fees are charged separately from the product price. Buyer may choose either Shipping included (arranged by Shunsaido) or Goods only (Buyer arrange shipping logistic). 1.2 All Shipping fees are calculated after the products are secured and presented separately as a quotation. They are finalised after buyer approves the shipping cost. 1.3 Shipping and arrival timing may shift depending on weather, flight conditions, quarantine and customs clearance. For the reason that VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. uses a third party transporter, VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. is not liable for any delay or loss of delivery order. 1.4 For buyers select “Goods only” during purchase, VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. completes its delivery obligation upon handover to the carrier arranged by the buyer. 1.5 All customs duties, import taxes and local charges are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed. 2 Delivery Terms Buyers must supply VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. with a valid contact email and phone number. VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. or Shunsaido accepts no liability arising out of failure to contact the registered receiver, should the contact details is not supplied correctly, invalid or incorrect. It is the obligation of the buyer to ensure the recipient’s address is correct Buyer must make sure all contact details, addresses and name of person in-charge are correct during registration. Failure to provide the correct delivery details may results in incorrectly delivered goods, undelivered goods and additional charges for redirect delivery. Buyers must ensure recipient details, such as their name and address are correct and spelt correctly. 2.1 Delivery Arrangement 2.1.1 VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. shall arrange export preparation and shipment from Japan. 2.1.2 Delivery schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. However, NEX(also known as Nippon Express) as the partner for air freight service provider for VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd., consolidate shipment of air transport weekly schedule shall be provided upon request. Therefore, buyers are encourage to contact VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. via messaging service available within the website for more accurate delivery schedule. 2.1.3 To meet the weekly air-flown schedule, delivery arrangement applies the following steps: • All paid order is consolidated before the cut-off time of 3:00pm every Friday; • Orders shall be processed and packed within 3 days (after cut-off time) at Ota Market; • All packed orders shall be delivered to NEX Japan at Haneda Airport within 24 hours after completion of pack process; • Subject to NEX Japan flight schedule of twice weekly, packed orders are processed at NEX warehouse and air flown the following days. 3. Risk Transfer Unless otherwise specified in the sales contract or applicable Incoterms: Risk of loss, deterioration, spoilage, delay, confiscation, customs hold, or damage shall transfer to the Buyer once the goods are handed over to the carrier, airline, freight forwarder, shipping company, or logistics provider in Japan. 4. Customs and Import Clearance The Buyer shall be solely responsible for: • Import permits; • Customs declarations; • Quarantine approvals; • Veterinary or phytosanitary requirements; • Local food safety approvals; • Distribution licenses; • Retail permits; • Regulatory compliance. VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for delays, confiscations, rejections, or destruction of goods by foreign authorities. 5.. License and Importation Regulations 5.1 Buyer Responsibilities The Buyer shall ensure compliance with all applicable laws within its jurisdiction. This includes obtaining: • Import licenses; • Food permits; • Quarantine approvals; • Distribution licenses; • Local authority approvals; • Product registration requirements. 5.2 Regulatory Compliance The Buyer acknowledges that import regulations vary between countries and may change without notice. VEGASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. does not provide legal, customs, taxation, or regulatory advice. The Buyer shall independently verify all import requirements before placing an order. 5.3 Malaysia-Specific Requirements For imports into Malaysia, Buyers are responsible for compliance with: • Customs regulations; • Food Act requirements; • Food Regulations; • Quarantine procedures; • Import permit requirements; • Halal-related obligations where applicable; • Local distribution and resale regulations. ■ Payment timing for shipping charges Shipping charges are payable after you approve the quotation and before dispatch. We proceed with the shipment once payment is confirmed.
